The present study is characterized as health services research and does not provide new knowledge about health or illness. According to national legislation, the Data Protection Officer at the study institution is the appropriate review board for approving the study. The study was submitted to and approved by the Data Protection Officer at Stavanger University Hospital (ID-1405). All participants signed informed consent to participate in the study, which included consent to publish the results, before the interviews were conducted.
