: All methods were carried out in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations. Ethical approval for the primary data collection was granted by the African Medical and Research Foundation (Amref) Health Africa Ethics and Scientific Review Committee based in Nairobi, Kenya (ref: DOR/2019/017). Participants were fully informed during the consent process that their participation was voluntary with the freedom to decline any question or withdraw from the study at any point in time and that no harm would occur to them or anyone in their family regardless of their participation decisions. Written informed consent was sought from all respondents prior to participation. All investigators, staff, or other individuals in the research team were required to complete human subjects’ protection training before they engaged in the study. Only after subjects had signed the consent form did the investigators begin to collect information. Sensitive data collected during this study were de-identified. All data was confidentially stored and with password protection and access restricted only to invited necessary personnel for research-oriented needs.
