: This study was based on secondary, de-identified data which comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Ethics committee approval was not required for this study, as it did not involve the collection, use, or transmittal of individual identifiable data. Database contains anonymized structured insurance e-claims data of the patients. Patients’ identity or medical records were not disclosed for the purposes of this study, except where disclosure was allowed as per applicable law. The study conformed to the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of 1964 and its later amendments.The data used for the current study was not publicly available. This data was obtained from Nationwide Medical Insurance following all necessary legal procedures to acquire and use this anonymized patient claims data. According to data sharing agreement between Nationwide Medical Insurance and IQVIA, IQVIA was granted a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use only the elements of the data described in the agreement. IQVIA was permitted to use the data after anonymizing and standardizing for health insurance claims data-based analysis and research studies and was allowed to share the anonymized and standardized data with its client for health insurance claims databased analysis and research studies. IQVIA agreed to adhere to measures to comply with applicable laws, including those related to data protection.
