: This quality improvement project was part of a larger ongoing evaluation of the TelePain-Empower Veterans Program (EVP) that was deemed non-research by the Emory University Institutional Review Board and the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center Research and Development Committee. This quality improvement project was considered to pose no greater than minimal risk to its participants. All project methods were performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. During the recruitment process, veterans were notified of project objectives and confidentiality.Prior to participation, informed consent was obtained from the participants or legally authorized representatives included in this study.
