: The authors involved have varying levels of professional qualifications. NRS is a senior physiotherapy academician and clinician at KUSMS, former president of NEPTA and a Ph.D. scholar at NTNU. GW has worked with development of physiotherapy in South-East Asia for more than 20 years. AE was a physiotherapy master graduate with experience in qualitative studies and currently a Ph.D. scholar at NTNU. HM and BMK have strong qualitative research background. All the authors have significant engagement in global health especially in health promotion, non-communicable diseases, disability, physiotherapy and rehabilitation. All the authors have a physiotherapy background, while BMK is the director of the Public Health, Community Programs and Global Engagement at KUSMS and administrative director of Dhulikhel Hospital, Nepal.
