:
: The Swedish Ethical Review Authority formally waived the requirement for obtaining informed consent for our project, as our research met the criteria for exemption due to minimal risk to participants and the use of de-identified data. This decision is documented in our ethics approval document, numbered Dnr 2022-00783-01, issued by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority on March 8, 2022.Despite the waiver for written consent, we ensured the ethical conduct of our study by obtaining verbal informed consent from all participants involved in the interviews. This process involved informing participants about the nature of the study, their rights—including their right to withdraw at any time—and measures taken to ensure their privacy and confidentiality. This approach was deemed appropriate and sufficient under the circumstances.
