: This study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, with approval from the National South Sudan Ministry of Health’s Research Ethical Committee and the County Health Department, which is part of the State Ministry of Health in Western Equatoria State. The purpose for this study was explained to all participants, and everyone was granted the discretion to refuse or accept participating in the study. Those accepted to participate in the study were provided with a consent form to sign, which gave them the option of dropping out of the study or objecting to any question they felt uncomfortable answering. Participants less than 18 years provided consent through their guardians. Additionally, participants who couldn’t read or write were asked to use thumbprints to sign, as approved by the ethical committee approval.
