: Ethical approval was obtained from the National Health Research Ethics Committee of Nigeria with approval number NHREC/01/01/2007. A written informed consent was obtained from the in-depth interview participants after the aims and objectives of the study were explained to them. Respondents were informed that participation was voluntary. Respondents were also assured of the confidentiality of the information they volunteered. In case of doubts/questions, interviewees were encouraged to contact the principal investigator for further clarification. The investigators also ensured that the interview recordings and transcripts were securely saved in pass worded laptops that were accessible to only designated team members. The identity of interviewees was coded and no personal information were reported in the analysis or report All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
