The data used in this study has been anonymized by the Shanghai Health Promotion Center and does not contain any personal basic information, nor can it be traced back to individual characteristics. The Ethics Committee of the School of Public Health at Fudan University determined that informed consent forms do not need to be signed by patients for this study, primarily because the risks involved are minimal, all data have been anonymized, exempting consent will not adversely affect patient rights, practical considerations make it infeasible to obtain consent from all 426,147 cases, and there is a mechanism for patients to contact the Committee if they have any concerns. Additionally, the study’s results will not directly benefit the patients.
