: This study received ethical approval from the Makerere University School of Medicine Research Ethics Committee (SOMREC) REF 2020 - 144) and the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (HS858ES). Administrative clearance to conduct the study in the two divisions of Kampala City Council was also obtained. The study adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki (). As such, each study participant provided written informed consent prior to being interviewed and was free to withdraw from the study at any time without negative consequences. Each study participant also provided consent to being audio recorded during the interview.
