Participation was entirely voluntary, and informed consent was implied by participants choosing to complete and submit the anonymous survey. This consent procedure was approved by the Ethics Board and is in accordance with the Canadian Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2), which permits implied consent for minimal-risk research involving anonymous questionnaires.
