All study participants were provided a written participant information sheet, and all processes were explained verbally before seeking verbal or written consent. Participation in the study was voluntary, and participants could withdraw at any point. Ethical approval was obtained from the Faculty of Medical Sciences Research Ethics Committee, part of Newcastle University’s Research Ethics Committee (Ref: 21140/2022).
