: This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki and the Belmont Report. Ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of the Ethiopian Public Health Institute; under reference number EPHI 613/152, issued on 20/09/2023. Additionally, the study participants provided their oral consent to participate in the study. Before the respondents were asked to participate in the study, written consent was read aloud to them by the interviewers. After listening to the consent read by the interviewers, the participants were asked to give their verbal consent, and only when they responded “Yes”, did the interviews proceed and when the respondent’s response was “No” the interviews did not proceed. Therefore, we would like to assure that in this study the consent obtained from all participants was informed.
