: The study was conducted according to the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by the Health Research Ethics Committee of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owerri Imo State, Nigeria under the Chairmanship of Dr. I.I. Ike (FMC/OW/HREC/Vol.11/048). All participants were provided with adequate information on the nature, purpose, and procedure of the study and, written informed consent of individual participants was obtained before enrolment. Confidentiality with regard to respondents’ information was maintained at all times by ensuring that participants were not linked to the questionnaires. Unique identifiers were assigned to the study participants to keep individual information anonymous. Only data collectors had access to participants’ information. Data collectors signed confidentiality agreements before commencing data collection. Participation was voluntary, and respondents were informed they could withdraw from the study if they so desired without any penalty.
