: The present study received approval from the Ethics Committee of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences (Ethics Code IR.LUMS.REC.1401.249). All methods were have been performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Prior to commencement, comprehensive details on the study’s procedures were conveyed to both mothers and nurses. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to their inclusion in the study. Following the conclusion of the study, in adherence to ethical principles in research, the educational package for premature infant care was also extended to the control group.
