: The need for written informed consent was waived by the ethics committee from Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital , Tenerife, Spain (reference number PI 28/17) due to the anonymity of the study. The online survey was self-administered, voluntary and anonymous. We did not collect any personal information that could identify the participants. The participants were informed about this in the consent information before accessing the survey. The data was stored securely on a password-protected computer and only accessible by the researchers. Written informed consent was not applicable as the data was collected anonymously online. We followed ethical guidelines and Spanish regulations at the time (2017) that allowed anonymous surveys with implied or tacit consent by answering the questionnaire. The study, including the questionnaire and the consent information, received approval by the ethics committee from Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital, Tenerife, Spain (reference number PI 28/17).
