Ethical approval and consent to participate: Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the University of Gondar, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Pharmacy Ethical Review Board. The study followed the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. Participants were informed of the study objectives, assured confidentiality, and made aware that their participation was entirely voluntary and their right to withdraw at any time. Participation was entirely voluntary, with all participants providing written informed consent after being informed of the study’s purpose, procedures, potential risks, and benefits. To protect patient confidentiality, the data were anonymized, i.e., no personally identifying information was recorded on data collection forms. Each participant was assigned a unique study code, which was used in place of personal identifiers during data entry and analysis. The list linking study codes to individuals was stored in a password-protected file accessible only to the principal investigators.
