Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study was granted an approval from the Health Research Ethics Committee for Research (Department of Health, Burkina Faso). Likewise, the strategy used in the Burkina Faso Demographic and Health Surveys, instead of a written consent, we sought an oral one from key informants, including the Mentao camp representatives. Participation was completely voluntary and freedom to withdraw during the process was guaranteed.
