: Blood samples of healthy donors were obtained from the Hong Kong Red Cross Transfusion Center. We had no contact with or information about the individual donors. All the ethics approval and consent forms were handled by the Hong Kong Red Cross under their own ethics guidelines. The blood samples were not collected solely for our work, and we were using existing blood samples made available to the public for medical research purposes.
