: Ethical clearance to evaluate the effects of <i>Naja</i> and <i>Daboia</i> venoms on various animal models was granted by the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore (CAF/Ethics/794/2020). All experiments involving animals have been performed following the guidelines of the Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA), Government of India. Coagulopathic and haemotoxic effects of venoms on human blood were assessed with permission from the Institute Human Ethical Committee (IHEC No: 18/20201216).Blood was collected from healthy volunteers after obtaining informed consent.
