: The skeletal fragments used for invasive molecular studies and macroscopic anthropological studies from the early modern archaeological site of Ostrów Tumski in Wrocław belong to the bone collections of the Department of Anthropology at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław. The curator of the collections, Prof. Barbara Kwiatkowska, approved the usage of the bioarchaeological materials (ancient bone samples) in this study.
