: Six-week-old female-specific pathogen-free (SPF) BALB/c mice were purchased from Yang-zhou University (Comparative Medicine Center). The animal experiments were carried out at Nanjing Agricultural University’s Laboratory Animal Center, adhering to the animal welfare guidelines of the Animal Research Committee of Jiangsu Province (permit number SYXK (Su) 2021–0086). The anesthesia and euthanasia methods complied with the AVMA Guidelines for the Euthanasia of Animals (2020). Consent to participate is not applicable to this study as it involved laboratory animals.
