: All experiments were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines, and this study has been approved by the internal ethics committee of the Institut Pasteur de la Guadeloupe (established since September 2015). For mosquito rearing, blood > 40 days old for non-therapeutic use was purchased from the French Blood Agency (EFS) under a cession agreement N° PLER-01/2020/EFS-IPGUAD. For the experiments, Anubis Vega-Rúa (author of the study) provided written consent for human blood donation to artificially feed mosquitoes.
