Ethics approval and consent to participate

: We used two data sources: (1) three birth cohort studies and (2) 21 repeated cross-sectional studies. For each, relevant ethical approvals have been given and participants gave verbal and/or written consent to be interviewed, to be visited by a nurse, and to have BP measurements taken during a home visit.
