: The study was approved by the Ethical Clearance Committee of Oromia Regional Health Bureau. Written informed consent was sought for literate individuals aged 18 years or more and from a parent or carer for younger individuals. In addition, assent was sought from all participants under 18 years of age. Verbal consent was sought from illiterate participants and participants who cannot read in the Oromyffa language. For these participants, a written confirmation of verbal consent from a witness elected by the study participant was sought.
