: Each participant in the dyads provided spoken and written consent for participation after verbal and written information. If the PwD were not regarded capable, the informal caregiver or a legal advocate provided consent based on his/her determination of whether the person would have agreed to participate if he/she had the ability. Before we recruited participants, the Regional Committee for Medical and Health Research Ethics North Norway (2019/385) and the Norwegian Centre for Research Data (514093) approved the trial, and indexed (NCT04043364) it.
