: Concerning the gE indirect ELISA, a patent application has been registered by In3diagnostic on the 8th May 2015 and published on the 11th November of the same year (EP 2942628 A1 Kit and in vitro method for identifying Bovine Herpes Virus 1 infections). The patent is based on the ELISA test and the protocol developed in a previous study. The authors have received no reimbursements, fees, funding, or salary linked to this patent application. In3diagnostic, manufacturer of the gE indirect ELISA, had no role in the study design, the collection, analysis, or interpretation of the data, the writing of the manuscript, or the decision to submit it for publication.
