Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Animals used in this study had their origin in commercial farms. With the purpose of obtaining data for this trial, calves were submitted to clinical practices standardized and regulated by the European, Spanish and Regional Law and Ethics Committee. All farmers were informed about the study and gave their consent and approval for the use of samples in the present study.The experimental design underwent ethical review and approval by NEIKER’s Animal Care and Use Committee and by the Agriculture Department.
