Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Animals were cared in compliance with the French directive on animal experimentation (). The protocol was submitted and approved by the Ethical Committee in Animal Experiment N°7 (Comité Rennais d’Ethique en matière d’Expérimentation Animale, CREEA, Rennes, France). The formal authorization was then delivered from the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, following the written notification of the ethics committee. All participants have a valid agreement to experiment on living animals (). Pigs were killed in compliance with national regulations and according to procedures approved by the French Veterinary Services at INRA experimental facilities.
