Ethics approval and consent to participate
: For the owner, we provided the informed written consents including meaningfulness of ultrasonographic examination to clarify preoperative evaluation of this disease, and necessity of procedure of glossectomy for improvement of quality of life in this case. We could get the owner’s agreement. In addition, for farmers and a representative in our university farm, we provided the informed written consents including the experimental plan of ultrasonographic examinations under anesthesia according to institutional guidelines on animal experimentation at Tottori university. We could get the farmer’s and representative’s agreements.
