Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The required permission for the management of stranded cetaceans on the cantabrian coast was granted by the environment department of the Cantabrian Government. Since our work was based on dead stranded cetaceans no experiments on live animals were carried out. Besides, the field studies did not involve endangered or protected species.
