: This article does not contain any studies with human participants or animals performed by any of the authors. Fecal specimens were collected by national surveillance programs in the Republic of Korea to detect avian influenza (AI) in domestic poultry, live bird markets, and wild birds. For that reason, collection of fecal specimens complied with the regulation and guidelines of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) in the Republic of Korea.
