: All clinical and diagnostic data included within the study formed part of veterinary diagnostic investigations. Samples from veterinary interventions for the purpose of disease treatment and control fall under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and do not require further ethical approval, as they are intended to maintain the health and welfare of animals. All data has been anonymised for publication with respect to disease surveillance in England and Wales.
