That statement was in accordance with the General data protection regulation of the European Union (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data).All hunters voluntarily registered and participated in the focus group discussions and were informed about the objectives of the study and data use. When registering for the meetings, hunters were informed about the aims of the study and of anonymous publication of the results and by filling in the registration forms, the hunters gave their written informed consent to the anonymous use and publication of the gathered data. At the beginning of each meeting, oral informed consent was additionally obtained from the participating hunters for data collection and anonymous publication.
