: This study was conducted on Ossimi ewes (<i>Ovis aries</i>), in the summer of 2022 at the educational farm belonging to Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt after getting the informed consent. Ewes in this study were managed, treated, and used by following the ethical approval from the Animal Care and Use Committee of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University (Vet CU20-09-2022-481). All methods were performed following relevant guidelines and regulations. All methods are reported in accordance with ARRIVE guidelines.
