: The plant materials were collected from communal land in the district and permissions were obtained from Gondar Zuriya district Land Administration and Forest Conservation offices. The plant collection was done according to IUCN Policy Statement on Research Involving Species at Risk of Extinction and A Preliminary Guide to Plant Collection, Identification and Herbarium Techniques, National Herbarium Addis Ababa University. All experiments were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. Informed consent was taken from the owner of the animal to use the animals in our study. The research involved in <i>in-vitro</i> study. All Ethical clearance protocols, guidelines and principles of Animal Care and Use were followed and approval was obtained for this study from Addis Ababa University College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture Minutes of Animals Research Ethics and Review Committee (VM/ERC/01/10/17).
