: The present animal experiment was handled at the facilities of the Higher Institute of Agronomy from the University of Lisbon (ISA-ULisboa), and informed consent was obtained from Pinto Valouro company (Bombarral, Portugal) to use the birds in this study. All protocols applied in the trial were examined by the Ethics Commission of CIISA/FMV and approved by the Animal Care Committee of the National Veterinary Authority (Direção Geral de Alimentação e Veterinária, Portugal).
