: The animal serum samples used here were previously collected either as part of as the mandatory national annual brucellosis and infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) prevention campaigns conducted in 2017–2019 according to French legislation (Order of 31 May 2016 laying down measures for the prevention, monitoring and control of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR): ; Order of 9 February 2012 amending the order of 22 April 2008 laying down the technical and administrative measures relating to the collective prophylaxis and health inspection of bovine brucellosis: or for bluetongue surveillance purposes in 2019 and 2020 according to European legislation (regulation EC/1266/2007: https//eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/FR/ALL/?uri = celex:32007R1266s).
