: This study was performed in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki []. The institutions (district livestock health bureau) authorized us to access patient data from the clinics. Prescribers’ confidentiality was protected by using a unique code. The study received ethical approval from the Addis Ababa University College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture Institutional Board of Research Ethics Committee (Ref. No: VM/ERC/01/06/10/2018) and data were collected after getting permission from the district veterinary clinics. Written informed consent was also obtained by signing a form by professionals who participated in group discussions.
