: The present study was carried out in accordance with the standard rules, guidelines, and regulations set forth by the Animal Ethics Committee and under the protocol number (approval code: KFS-IACUC/001/2021) of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, and complied with the regulations of the National Committee for Research regarding the care and use of animals for scientific purposes. All methods were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations from the Basel Declaration and the International Council for Laboratory Animal Science (ICLAS). The study was conducted in accordance with the local legislation and institutional requirements. The source of the Egyptian donkeys utilized in this study was obtained directly from their respective owners.
