: According to the Act of January 15, 2015: „The protection of animals used for scientific or educational purposes’’ – Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland (Journal of Laws 2015 item 266) consent of the local ethical committee was not required in this study.The study used only archival diagnostic specimens collected in the Department of Pathological Anatomy, University of Warmia and Mazury. Written informed consent was obtained from the owner or legal custodian of all sampled animals for the use of their epidemiological data and histopathology material of collected tissues in this retrospective study.
