: All Tibetan sheep grazed in this study were owned by individual herders, and their informed consent was obtained for the use of these animals as research subjects in the experiment. All studies involving animals were carried out in accordance with the regulations for the Administration of Affairs Concerning Experimental Animals (Ministry of Science and Technology, China; revised in June 2004), and sample collection protocols were approved by the Livestock Care Committee of Gansu Agricultural University (Approval No. GAU-LC-2020-27).
