: This work was part of a thematic research project titled “Biological Control of Nematode Parasites in Ruminants,” sponsored by Addis Ababa University (AAU). The project received ethical clearance from the Institutional Animal Use and Care Committee of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture (Ref. No. VM/ERC/02/13/12/2020). Animal management and all experimental manipulations were in accordance with good animal handling and welfare principles. Soil sampling from farmyards was conducted after obtaining informed verbal consent from the farm owners.
