: Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the Ethical Review and Research Committee of the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) and the Nepal Veterinary Council (NVC), Ref. No. 179 (TG)/2076.77. Written informed consent forms from the cattle owners were obtained during the interview. The experienced and registered veterinarian carefully managed all the animals during the sampling to minimize pain during blood collection. The owners also requested that the test results of their cattle farms be provided confidentially.
