: The best practice guidelines for veterinary care were followed, and those camel owners were informed about the purpose of the study, and that the Wolaita Sodo University’s Research Ethics and Review Committee approved (RN-WSU 41/22/2241). Verbal consent was also obtained from the owners to take samples from their camel and use them for further research. Blood samples were collected during routine veterinary practice in adherence to a high standard of veterinary care, and after the permission of the animal owners and informed consent was obtained from the owners for animal use. The authors would confirm that manipulations on animals were conducted following research animal guidelines and regulations of the School of Veterinary Medicine of Wolaita Sodo University, which were in line with ARRIVE guidelines.
