: Animal experimentation in this study was approved by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet; FOTS ID 29970), the national competent authority responsible for regulating animal research in Norway under the EU Directive 2010/63/EU. Mattilsynet’s regulatory role is equivalent to that of an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) in other jurisdictions.
