: In this non-experimental case report on a calf, all research animal activity was performed in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Examinations were conducted in a manner that avoided unnecessary discomfort to the calf by the use of proper management techniques. We were in compliance with the IUCN Policy Statement on Research Involving Species at Risk of Extinction and the Convention on the Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
