: All procedures were performed according to Polish Law - 15 January 2015 the Act on the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific or Educational Purposes was adopted in Poland. This act implements Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament and the Council of 22 September 2010 on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes. According to the regulations in force in Poland, the use of residual biological material obtained from standard veterinary procedures does not require the approval of the Ethics committee.
