Ethics approval and consent to participate
: We purchased the experimental AA broiler from Guangdong Zhanjiang Hengwei Planting & Breeding Technology Co., Ltd, and obtained informed consent from the farm’s legal representative (General Manager Mr. ***) authorising the use of these chicks for scientific purposes. The animal care, feeding, and sampling procedures involved in the present study were approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Guangdong Ocean University (IACUC No. GDOU-NXYLAE-2024-DY014) and in compliance with the ethical guidelines of the European Community.
