: All experimental procedures were reviewed and approved by the Animal Care and Ethics Committee at Cukurova University (Approval No. 2025/25–47). Animals were sourced from both privately owned flocks/commercial farms and the Çukurova University research herd. Written informed consent for sample collection and the use of anonymized genetic data for research was obtained from all private flock/farm owners or their authorized representatives before sampling.
